About Anna

Anna joined the practice in 2008 after completing her Accounting degree from Stirling University and three years working as a corporate banking analyst in Glasgow.

A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Anna was appointed Director in 2022 and looks after a diverse portfolio of clients, with extensive experience in sole traders, partnerships, and SMEs.

As a Xero certified advisor, Anna has embraced cloud accounting and enjoys helping small businesses grow through the use of reporting and technology. Xero has also brought improved efficiency and many benefits to the practice from the use of automated bank feeds, document scanning, bespoke reporting and various integrations.

In 2023 HLB McGuire + Farry were proud to become a Xero Platinum Partner and Anna has helped form our excellent team of Xero advisors ready to service our clients.

Anna has two young boys who keeps her busy while out of the office, and in her spare time has found a new passion for fitness and exercise classes.
